Charles W. Perry – Filmmaker & Founder, TBC Studios
Charles Perry began his film career from the ground up in 2007, attending the Northwest Film School and working with Medtro East Media before becoming an independent filmmaker.
His first feature-length documentary, The Black Cowboy, showcases his dedication to storytelling and cultural preservation, taking him across the United States and to Africa to trace the roots of this important narrative.
His work has been recognized with honors including the Montana Film Grant, a San Francisco Film Office recommendation, features in the Oklahoma Eagle Newspaper, and selections in the Coverliite Film Festival.

Founder Charles W. Perry is actively recruiting key leadership positions, including a Chief Operating Officer (COO)and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to strengthen TBC Studios’ operational and financial foundation.
Additional roles—Head of Development, Marketing & Distribution Director, and Legal & Business Affairs Manager—will be brought on as the studio scales to manage new projects, promotions, and contracts efficiently. These strategic hires will ensure strong creative direction, sound management, and sustainable growth.
